Give Me 10! First Responders' Health Fair & Prostate Cancer Screening Event
Every day, our first responders answer the call without hesitation, stepping into harm’s way and putting our communities' safety above their own. But demanding shifts, high occupational stress, and rigorous schedules often push preventive health care to the bottom of the list.
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, The Empowerment Network, in partnership with Moline Acres & The Riverview School District, hosted our inaugural "Give Me 10!" First Responders Health Fair & Screening Event at Central Middle School in the Riverview Gardens School District. Our core call to action was simple: give us 10 minutes of your time, because a quick, free 10-minute screening can save a life.
Surrounded by community partners, municipal leaders, and dedicated advocates, we were proud to deliver vital, free resources to the brave men and women who keep us safe:
-
Free PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) Screenings for early detection
-
Metabolic Testing and health evaluations
-
Specialized Health Education from top medical professionals
-
Community Wellness Resources tailored specifically to first responders and their families
Thank you to all our participating departments, medical partners, volunteers, and the incredible first responders who joined us to protect their health so they can continue protecting us!
