Monthly Prostate Cancer Support Group Virtual Meetings
Every second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. sharp via Zoom, prostate cancer survivors come together to share the highs and lows about their life changing journeys. They uplift one another, laugh, sometimes share their anguish. Guest speakers ranging from urologists, life coaches, and nutritionists to mental health practitioners, communicable disease specialists and other skilled professionals keeps the men informed about the facts and helps manage their expectations. But always, the beam of hope ties them together in an unbreakable, heart-felt camaraderie, that reassures survivors that they’re not alone on their journeys.

After Surgery Kits
The After Surgery Kits are designed for prostate cancer patients for home use. The kits contain basic hygiene items and are given to men undergoing surgery for prostate cancer free of charge. The kits are displayed in doctor’s and urologist’s offices throughout the St. Louis community.
Most patients are unaware of the post-surgery difficulties and challenges they will encounter. Many live alone and do not have a loving caregiver to assist them. Normal recoveries do not allow the patient to be ambulatory for several days following surgery and this kits provides the items that will be needed during this time.
The kits are In memory of Leodas Stewart, and sponsored by The St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer.
